Most modern Smart TVs can run IPTV directly — no extra box needed. The exact steps depend on whether you have an Android/Google TV (Sony, Philips, TCL, many others), a Samsung or an LG. This guide covers all three.
Android TV & Google TV (Sony, Philips, TCL…)
These are the easiest because they have a full app store.
- Open the Google Play Store on your TV.
- Search for IPTV Smarters Pro and install it.
- Open it, choose Login with Xtream Codes API (or load your M3U URL) and enter your details.
- Your channels and movies load in seconds.
Samsung (Tizen) & LG (webOS)
Samsung and LG use their own systems, so IPTV Smarters may not be in their store. Two reliable options:
- Use a supported player from the Samsung or LG store (for example an M3U/Xtream player app), then enter your login.
- Add a Fire TV Stick — the simplest fix. Plug it into an HDMI port and follow our Firestick guide. This gives you the exact same experience on any TV.
If the app will not install on your Smart TV
Older or region-locked Smart TVs sometimes block third-party apps. The guaranteed workaround is a Fire TV Stick or Android box — cheap, plugs into HDMI, and runs every IPTV app perfectly. Many people prefer this even on a capable Smart TV because the interface is faster.
Fixing playback problems
